To make a good cosplay is hard. personnaly I think all cosplays are ugly because they all look unatural or too ''played'' if you see what I mean. There's two types, the really good ones, where you are the character, you understand it, you embrace it, and then there's the other one, where you put on a crappy costume, strike a pose and call yourself a cosplayer. You're from the first category, I see sailor venus in this picture, I see the character, the way she moves, think and talk.
