I don't know why, but I really want to write overly much on this, so I hope you don't mind First impression was of the costume: Wow. It fits the wearer, is proportionate to the human as well as the anime body, and actually looks comfortable to wear. The bow is very nicely shaped, the pleating on the skirt is awesome, and the gloves I rarely see so well-done as this. I couldn't see the shoulder guards too well due to the lighting, which is nice to be accented or included in the image. I also can't really see the long bow-tails typical to the super form, which was a little disappointing.
The pose is what struck me I think the most about this. It's a relaxed, graceful and lovely pose, which is exactly what Sailor Venus is about. One little easter-egg-type detail that I noticed is that her arms form a heart. I see what you did. Very nicely done.
Sometimes the simpler the better, and in the lighting and background for this image is definitely a great example for that.
The make up is simple, effective, and really suits the character It's not overly done or layered on so your natural beauty stands out.
I can't wait to see what else you can do with costumes! Overall, lovely photo and costume.
To make a good cosplay is hard. personnaly I think all cosplays are ugly because they all look unatural or too ''played'' if you see what I mean. There's two types, the really good ones, where you are the character, you understand it, you embrace it, and then there's the other one, where you put on a crappy costume, strike a pose and call yourself a cosplayer. You're from the first category, I see sailor venus in this picture, I see the character, the way she moves, think and talk. You did a great job here, way to go <3
Damn, you're a gorgeous Sailor Venus! The level of detail on the costume is faithful to the anime. The materials, the coloration, even the brooch are well done. Not to mention the lady modeling the costume.
